« Creole music, soca music, reggae music
Touching the people lives
There's strength and unity
So listen carefully
When Guadeloupe, Barbados, Jamaica music
Take over the party »*
When Guadeloupe’s Admiral T and Barbados’ Square One teamed and came up with « Move together », real hymn for the Caribbean unity, I was like shocked in front of such an evidence of the true reality that a song had to remind us: We are One Caribbean.
Indeed, geographically speaking, we are part of the same area. But, let’s go further: when you listen to « Move together », nothing, musically, shocks your ears because there is a kind of unity and harmony in the whole Caribbean music.
And this common structure is not only to be observed in the musical department, but also in our « Creole attitude » of daily life: our cuisine, our specific way to merge together the colonial heritages with the ones from our ancestors and our vision of culture and our daily needs, are typically Creole and Caribbean.
Today, while all the economists and politics are speaking about EPA, we, at CaribCreoleOne, chose to point the finger on a true cultural and human Caribbean understanding and cooperation.
Because we do believe that the whole Caribbean has more in common that economic relationships, because we do believe Caribbean people are proud to be what they are and are always seeking for this Caribbean brotherhood link we all feel in our blood, CaribCreoleOne is standing up today with the frank goal to help Caribbean people to get to know each other better:
“No matter how they try
We are the Caribbean
Fight together until we die”*
That’s why the title of this great featuring between Admiral T and Square One, recorded a few years ago, represents very well our will to get together with the other Caribbean Nations thanks to the Internet by networking on a dedicated portal.
Caribbean, stand up today and let’s move together!
CaribCreole1.com is The Link!
